Duke Dennis Arrested Playing Hide-and-Seek at Texas Mall

AMP collective member and streaming star Duke Dennis was taken into custody Saturday night at San Antonio’s Shops at Rivercenter while participating in the children’s game after mall hours, with fellow content creator Kai Cenat reportedly filming the arrest.

Content Creator Charged with Criminal Trespassing

Duke Dennis, whose real name is Denzel Dennis, was arrested Saturday evening at the Shops at Rivercenter in San Antonio while playing hide-and-seek after the mall had closed for business. The 31-year-old Twitch and YouTube personality, who is part of the popular content collective AMP alongside streaming superstar Kai Cenat, now faces charges of criminal trespassing and evading arrest.

Police Respond to Mall Disruption

San Antonio police responded to reports of individuals “causing disruption throughout the area” by playing hide-and-seek in the closed shopping center. According to police statements, security guards had already advised Dennis and others in his group to leave the premises, but they refused to comply.

“An officer instructed the suspect to leave, and the suspect verbally and physically refused to leave the location,” police said in their report. When officers attempted to arrest Dennis for criminal trespassing on private property, he fled the scene before being apprehended by security guards and law enforcement.

Additional Arrest During Incident

A second individual was also arrested during the incident after allegedly interfering with Dennis’s arrest by pushing an officer. This person faces multiple charges including three counts of assault on an officer, one count of interfering with the duties of a public servant, and one count of resisting arrest.

Video footage circulating on social media platforms shows what appears to be Dennis being arrested at the mall, with Kai Cenat visible in the footage apparently recording the incident from an upper floor of the shopping center.

AMP Collective Background

Dennis is a prominent member of AMP (Any Means Possible), a YouTube collective that includes Kai Cenat, Agent 00, Fanum, ImDavisss, and ChrisNxtDoor. The group has gained massive popularity by documenting themselves participating in various challenges and collaborating with other major social media personalities such as Mr. Beast, Druski, and Keith Lee.

The collective recently completed “AMP Summer,” a month-long project in July where they streamed their daily activities for 12 hours each day. The ambitious project even featured a trailer with musician T-Pain.

Content Creator Takes Social Media Break

Following his arrest, Dennis has not issued any public statements regarding the incident. However, he posted to his Instagram story on Sunday, suggesting he would be taking a break from social media activities.

“Officially on vacation, need suggestions on where to go…See yall later,” Dennis wrote to his followers.

It remains unclear whether the hide-and-seek game at the Shops at Rivercenter was intended as content for an upcoming AMP video or was simply a recreational activity that went awry.
